One of the things that I always look at when starting a business is how much inventory I have to carry to meet the customer demands. It costs money to carry an inventory of anything. First you have to put up the money or credit to buy it. Then you have to have a place to store it. If you are lucky you don’t have to store it in a temperature or humidity controlled room. I don’t even want to get into having to buy inventory to get a certain amount of “points” needed to insure you receive a commission check from the business.

I was previously in a Health/Vitamin related MLM business. I had to start with over $5000 worth of stock and maintain a monthly order of $200 a month of more “pills and potions” to stay in a “leadership position” in that company. I tried selling off the stock like I was supposed to, but I didn’t have much luck. I also couldn’t personally use all the stuff I was required to order monthly. I eventually gave up on it and the company went out of business a couple of years later. I hear the same complaints coming from Mona Vie Distributors. I hear stories about people with cases of bottles of Mona Vie sitting in their garage that they are trying to sell for a loss on ebay and craigslist.

There is also no shipping products with this business. Ask some vitamin, water filter and Mona Vie reps how much they have to pay in shipping charges every month. There are also usually no commission points or income from shipping charges, it’s just “dead money”. All the major shipping companies also seem to never stop raising their rates, adding fuel surcharges and extra fees for deliveries to home addresses instead of business addresses.

There are no charges for shipping when selling the WOW Mobile Phone Service. There is also nothing to store or keep an inventory of. There are also no deliveries to make. I remember when I tried Amway back in the early 90′s that all of us had to meet at our upline’s house on Thursday nights to pick up our orders. Obviously, there is none of that with WOW Mobile.
